2,400 SERVICE STATIONS

By the end of 1933—less than nine months after the first station was opened —no fewer than 2,432 Castrol lubrequipment stations were in operation in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Of these 2,177 are in England and Wales. Scotland

has 139 stations and Northern Ireland 116. The Wakefield Company are shortly to bring out a new and revised edition of their service gazetteer, which lists all stations by counties and in alphabetical order, and can be obtained free on applica

tion to the Wakefield Company’s chief office in Cheapside, London.

Every station in the list is equipped to give high-pressure, mechanised lubrication with the grease and oil recommended or approved by the makers.
