MISUSE OF NUMBER PLATES.
Motor-cyclists have received a reminder of the illegality of using their number plates to display nicknames of their machines, by the prosecution of a rider who called his mount “Nippy.” There are several places on a motor-cycle suitable for the inscription of endearing names and the number plates should be left for their proper purpose.
