TC63 Race Series

The new TC63 race series for pre-1963 historic touring cars made an encouraging debut at Snetterton in early October. Goodwood dramas reduced the field a little, but 17 cars started the half-hour race, and promoter Julius Thurgood from the Historic Racing Drivers Club is upbeat about interest for next season. Ian McDonald’s rare Warwick GT350 led for much of the race before hitting engine dramas and so Chris Scragg moved narrowly ahead with his Jaguar Mk2.
