RAC attracts strong entry
British rally stalwarts Jeremy Easson and David Stokes are among the leading entries for the 2009 Roger Albert Clark Rally, which starts in Pickering on November 13 and finishes four days later in Carlisle.
The event, which recreates the classic Lombard RAC Rallies of the 1970s, will have a field of over 50 cars including Stig Blomqvist, winner of the inaugural event in 2004.
“It’s the best rally of the year,” said Easson, who has finished on the podium four times in five years. The action opens with a special stage in Langdale forest on the Friday evening.
