Tour of Spain route unveiled
Starting on November 3 in Jerez, the 10th running OF the Tour of Spain will take crews via overnight halts in Jerez, Marbella and Granada before finishing at Malaga on November 7. The route will include 14 special stages on closed public roads as well as races at Jerez, Ronda and Guadix.
The Tour of Spain is widely regarded as a more relaxed and informal event than the corresponding Tour Auto in France. Last year’s winner, when the event crossed the border into Portugal, was German rally champion Michael Stoschek, partnered by ex-F1 racer Tiago Monteiro in his Porsche 911.
