CLUB VENUES IN ’05

The Historic Sports Car Club is set to add meetings at Croft and Thruxton to its 2005 schedule as it seeks to meet the big demand for places in its programmes. Neither venue has been on the schedule during the past five years, but the expansion of the calendar is evidence of

how strong this championship portfolio has become.

By adding at least one more meeting to its calendar, the club should be able to offer races for non-HSCC series at some events. Headline meetings at Oulton Park (Gold Cup in late August) and Brands Hatch (Superprix in July) will top its bumper year.

Meanwhile. the VSCC is planning a return to Oulton Park in late May, having not run race meetings at the Cheshire track for many years.

The club’s major Donington Park meeting is scheduled for September 2-3.
