The GP Fiat, pictured in your Novernber issue, in which Bordino is about to take the Queen &tithe Belgians fore ride, is a 1923 Type 805, not a 1922 Type 804. A distinguishing feature of the 805, which can be seen in the picture. was that the rem springs were inside the frame: those of the 804 were outboard. Bordino’s car bore No. 2 in the 1923 European GP. ‘The caption to the picture as it appeared in The Motor shortly alter the Monza race, stated that the event took place on the roof track at the Fiat works.
