Tribute to Cevert?

Sir,

I am writing to see if any other reader is interested in joining me to form some sort of memorial to Francois Cevert. I have not decided what form the memorial will take as yet, until I see what sort of response I get. Any suggestions for a scheme will be welcome.

Jackie Stewart suggests I go ahead with my plans to put this letter in Motor Sport although he feels in general motor racing fans have short memories. Nevertheless I feel it is worth a try. I hope you will print my letter.
