Channel Air Bridge will bring their four-engined Carvair aircraft into service in April; these will be able to carry five large or six small cars (seven Minis!) and 23 passengers. First routes to be covered will be from Southend to Geneva, Basle and Strasbourg, with the possibility of others later. A 14-ft. car to Strasbourg will cost £14 single and the return passenger fare will be £27. Other routes will be slightly dearer.
