Lambretta, the Italian scooter manufacturers, put out some very pleasing publicity pictures, mostly depicting charming young women enjoying scooter freedom. They have also put out recently a new scooter, the Lambretta Li, which follows the introduction of the TV175 last February. The Lambretta Li comes in 125 cc. and 150 cc. versions, for which respective fuel consumptions of 120 and 110 m.p.g. are claimed. The cylinder barrel is placed horizontally within the frame and there is a four-speed gearbox. Braking area is 22.4 sq. in.
