What a disaster it will be if Rupert Murdoch gets his hands on Formula 1. I have not spectated at a Grand Prix for some time now, as I cannot justify the high entry charges. If it is only available to watch on Sky, I for one will never see it again, as I ‘believe in better’ than Sky’s inflated pricing structure. The only beneficiary of this change would be the Murdoch family. Too much of the money associated with Fl is going out of the sport already. A rational ‘ownership’ of Fl is required, ensuring fair returns for the circuits, the teams and, of course, the fans. If it is lost to Murdoch I’ll have to hope and pray that GP reports in your publication keep me well-informed on a sport I have avidly followed for over 50 years. Based on the development of the publication to date, I do not feel that I will lose out completely. Mike F Young, Bamham, West Sussex
