Double fault

Double fault

Sir,

The driving of Lewis Hamilton is becoming more and more dangerous. He was at fault in Monaco and again in Canada.

If the management at McLaren, i.e. Martin Whitmarsh, keep condoning his actions then they will bear the responsibility of any problems caused by him in the future.

This kind of behaviour is now and has always been totally unacceptable, and action must be taken to stop it at once.

When the great drivers of the past — Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Dan Gurney, Mario Andretti, Jack Brabham et al — had problems they never displayed this kind of histrionics. Why should people accept it now? Del Bennett, Cheshunt, Hefts
