Rowan Atkinson has acquired a Ford Falcon (above) for historic touring car racing. The car is being prepared by Simon Hadfield.

Chris Lillingston-Price will campaign an ex-works Chevron B8 after a long rebuild. Reine Wisell and John Hine took it to seventh in the 1969 BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch.

The Jaguar D-type in which George Constantine won the 1956 Watkins Glen GP will be raced by Gavin Pickering. 

Roger Ballard has been elected president for the Vintage Sports Car Club, following on from Martin Grant-Peterkin. Ballard has been a VSCC member for over 40 years. 

Pierre-Francois Rousselot, an F3 ace of the early 1970s, returned to racing to share the Austin Healey 3000 of Mike Knight in a Cloth Cap race at Silverstone.
