Packed Prescott for VSCC climb

The Vintage Sports Car Club is expecting a capacity entry of 250 cars for its annual Prescott hillclimb on August 5/6, making the event the biggest classic hillclimb of the British season.

Practice at the Gloucestershire venue, home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club, will be on Saturday with timed runs on Sunday.

James Baxter will be striving to beat the ERAs and repeat his 2005 FTD in the Frazer Nash single-seater. A pre-war car parking area in the Orchard will draw many enthusiasts.
