VSCC undampened at Henry Segrave meet, Oulton Park
The Vintage Sports Car Club travelled to OuIton Park. Cheshire, at the end of June for its annual Sir Henry Segrave memorial Meeting, where showers allowed Julian Bronson’s familiar vivid style to flourish on the wet track. Bronson’s supercharged Riley slithered home nearly 14 seconds clear of Stuart Harper’s three-wheeler Morgan in the final four-lap scratch race. Left Post-war racing cars raising rooster-tails at the start of the Rothschild Trophy race. Rick Hall crossed the line first in Cedric Brierley’s Connaught, while Colin Cowdery (Cooper-Bristol no52) won on handicap.
