We regret to learn of the death of Denis Evans, who with his brother Kenneth and sister Doreen before the war formed the very well known Belleview garage racing team, concentrating mainly on MGs. Although Denis raced far less than the other members of the Evans family, however, he did drive Chrysler, Bugatti and R-Type MG cars at Brooklands, the last named in the 1935 500 mile race.
We also hear with deep regret that Pat Dencham, who will be remembered as a Bugatti driver at the track in the 1920s, died last June aged 89. He played his last game of squash at 84½ and drove his R-Type Midget until he was 86.
