A little strip of chromium

Sir,

Making out a schedule for my Mark VI Bentley, I incorporated a sentence which should be of interest not only to Bentley Motors (1931) Ltd., but to all other misguided motor car manufacturers. It runs as follows:

“This is the only post war Bentley standard steel saloon I have ever seen which does not have the ghastly chromium strip which detracts so much from the appearance of these cars and which is a constant source of trouble and rust.”
