FORTHCOMING FRENCH RACES
FORTHCOMING FRENCH RACES.
English motorists on holiday in France during August should bear in mind two important motor races within reach of well-known pleasure resorts. These are the Grand Prix of Nice, to be held on the 19th, and the Grand Prix du Comminges,
which will take place on the 26th. The Nice race is a ” round-the-houses ” affair, and last year was a magnificent spectacle. Earl Howe and the Hon. Brian Lewis were among the competitors then, and an English contingent is anti
cipated next month. The Grand Prix du Comminges is held in the shadow of the Pyrenees, over a picturesque and difficult course. The circuit is a permanent one, and all the grandstands and pits are made of brick and concrete.
