A HORNET WINS IN NEW ZELAND
A HORNET WINS IN NEW ZEALAND.
At a recent meeting of the Pioneer Sports Club of New Zealand, a Wolseley Hornet secured for its driver the coveted title of Light Car Beach Champion for 1933. The event was an exciting series of beach races, in which the light cars particularly distinguished themselves. In the 16-mile open handicap the Hornet made a fine performance, and as well as captur
ing the beach championship, established a new record of over 64 miles an hour for the course, which includes seven bends and was in a sodden condition at the time.
