Formule Libre on the bill for Oulton Park

An old-style Formule Libre race for a wide range of historic and more recent single-seaters will run at the opening Masters event of the season at Oulton Park on Saturday March 17.

The Masters organisation is confident of a healthy entry for the first historic race meeting of the season. It is the first opportunity for many of the cars to be run after the winter.

“”Single-seater racing has a huge history at Oulton Park, especially when Formula 1 cars raced for the Gold Cup,” said Rachel Bailey from Masters. “What we want to do is encourage cars to come that don’t fit into a current category, while at the same time welcoming cars from historic single-seater racing.”

Masters will present a bottle of champagne to any entrant who also races at the HSCC’s Donington Park event over the same weekend.
