Shelsley surfaces
The entire 1000 yards of Shelsley Walsh will be resurfaced before the 2007 season, with work at the historic Worcestershire hillclimb venue scheduled for early April.
For the first time since 1992 the hill will be resurfaced in one go, and the Midland Automobile Club plans to pay particular attention to the section at the Crossing, where cars have been bottoming out in recent times.
“It is a considerable investment in the hill,” says Roger Thomas of the MAC, which owns the venue.
