Jack Fairman
This former Aston Martin sports-car driver died in February, aged 88.
Although better known for his test and development skills, Fairman contested 12 GPs over a nine-year period, taking fourth in the 1956 British race with a works Connaught. His greatest successes, however, came in 1959, with two world championship victories alongside Stirling Moss in a DBR1 — the Nurburgring 1000Km and the Goodwood TT.
