Group one, anyone?

Sir,

I thoroughly enjoyed the article recalling Formula 5000 in your December issue. I could almost hear the V8s rumbling again. Harking back to that same era, please can we have an article on the Group One racing series? The motley collection of machinery such as Moskvitches and Mini 1000s, often inexpertly piloted, was never less than entertaining. it must have provided an entry to the sport for many who went on to bigger, if not better things.

I do hope you can find somebody who will admit to remembering it to do the job.
