Benjamin and Benova

Sir,
Regarding the photograph of a Benova by Mr Peto (Motor Sport, February 1989), this car was manufactured by Maurice Jeanson in Seine, France. The cars manufactured by this company were originally called Benjamin and were first made in 1921. The car in question, most definitely made between 1927 and 1929, when the company ceased production, was either 1402cc or if later a 1996cc straight-eight saloon.
