4 — The 7-litre supercharged 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz 38/250 was one of the kings of the road and its “face” did nothing to dispel this image. Mighty and Majestic are words that come to mind when faced with a Mercedes-Benz of the late vintage years. The radiator had a sharp vee-shape, with a badge on each face, and to drive home the point a third one stood proudly on top of the filler cap. The front axle was unusual in having Y-shaped ends with very long king-pins. This particular car was left-hand drive.
