VW items

Sir,
Next time you sit behind the wheel of a VW 1300 please look for the small lever which will release the passenger-seat squab whilst sitting in the driver’s seat. Perhaps VW did learn from Porsche’s boob after all. Also, please try and adjust the seat squab without sticking your rear end into the road. I can manage it quite easily without leaving the seat.

Have VW’s only a 6-volt system ? I never realised. I certainly have no starting problems and the lights seem well up to average on main beam.
