POLICE STATE?
According to a newspaper report, a motorist was brought before Dungannon petty sessions on a charge of having splashed a police Sergeant by driving his car at 25 m.p.h. through a 5-ft.-wide pool of water which had formed in the roadway-the sergeant standing on the pavement in plain clothes. The case was brought by the District Police Inspector.
