"THE DICERS "

” THE DICERS”

A.T.V. put on this programme about racing drivers on the evening of March 7th, Gordon Wilkins interviewing Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Ron Flockhart and F. W. (” Lofty “) England. Theprogramme was produced by James Breden and the 13.P. film of Fangio lapping Modena in a Maserati was the best of the ” background music.” Moss spoke of the skill needed to balance a car under braking. Brabham of the need to nurse a car in order to finish, and Floekhart of the value of engineering knowledge in testing racing cars although he did net consider this essential to winning a race. Brabham thought midget racing and racing big sports cars far more dangerous than Grand Prix racing. Wilkins was master of his team, an excellent rompere.—W. B.
