As a change from watching motoring contests some readers may like to note that at Brighton on April 19/20th motor-coaches taking part in the Fourth British Coach Rally will compete in driving tests on the Madeira Drive at Brighton, after completing a road section from Croydon Airport. There will also be a Concours d’Élegance, with six classes. Five tests will be undertaken “to demonstrate manoeuvrability and driving skill”—which sounds worth watching! Coaches arrive at 11.30 a.m.-1.30 p.m. on the 19th, tests take place from 2.30-4.30 p.m. that day and the Concours d’Élegance and parade occupies from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the 20th.
