Live stream this weekend's 82nd Goodwood Members' Meeting — plus timetable, streaming schedule and what to watch out for

Goodwood hosts its 82nd Members’ Meeting this weekend, and you can watch all of the action live on this page.

Since returning to the racing calendar, the event has rightly become an early season favourite, combining top class drivers with grids of classic machines, from motorbikes to tin-tops and single-seaters.

Today will see practice sessions for all categories before competition begins in earnest this afternoon, with four races and a GT3 shootout — followed by fireworks for those attending.

Sunday brings a full day of racing, so there’s no chance of being short of entertainment this weekend.

This year celebrates the 40th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s first Formula 1 win at the Portuguese Grand Prix, which is aptly marked by a demonstration run of his winning car, the Lotus 97T, featured in our current issue. It will roar again around the Goodwood circuit in the hands of the three-time F1 champion’s nephew, Bruno Senna.

Another of the demonstration runs is rooted in the present: the Cadillac raced by Team JOTA in this year’s World Endurance Championship will complete several high-speed runs over the weekend. Gordon Murray Automotive will return to the Members’ Meeting with a range of supercar creation, including the track-only V12-powered GMA T.50s Niki Lauda, driven by Dario Franchitti.

Aside the demonstrations, there’s still a full schedule of races, including a new one in the form of the Win Percy Trophy, a 45-minute, two-driver event for Group 1 touring cars under 2.8-litres. This joins the popular two-part Gordon Spice Trophy for tourng cars over 3 litres, which starts on Saturday evening and concludes on Sunday.

The John Whitmore Trophy has been refreshed. It used to be a 30-Mini Cooper ‘Battle Royale’ but will now feature pre-66 Touring Cars under 2-litres, pitting the Minis against Alfa Romeo Giulias, Lotus Cortinas and more.

After last year’s shootout involving sidecars, Goodwood has brought back the concept but with GT3 cars: the modern machines from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin will compete head-to-head to set the fastest lap in runs on both Saturday and Sunday.

Other favourites return in familiar form: the Gurney Cup for 1960s sports car monsters like Ford GT40s and Chevron B6s; the Moss Trophy for pre-’63 GT cars; and the Hailwood Trophy for classic motorcycles, which will play host to vintage Yamaha TZ350Gs, Honda CB750s and Ducati 750Ss and see competitors start the race with a Le Mans-style run to their bikes.
